Sligo Yacht Club are delighted to announce that Martin Reilly Mazda will be the title sponsor for the Mirror Worlds Championship this July.
The World Championship will run from the 23rd -29th July and it will be preceded by the Irish National Championship on the 21st & 22nd July.
Sailors from Australia, South Africa, Japan, UK and Ireland will be arriving in Sligo for a week of competitive sailing. The Mirror Worlds is truly a family event with ages of sailors ranging from 8 to 50+ with National Champions and ex Olympian and junior sailors all competing for the one title – Mirror World Champion”
Speaking at the announcement, Martin Reilly of Martin Reilly Mazda said “We are delighted to be associated with and the main sponsor for the 2023 Mirror World Sailing Championships which will be held at Sligo Yacht Club from the 23rd – 29th July 2023. One of the original design features of the Mirror dinghy was that it could fit on the roof of a car for easy transportation so it’s very appropriate that Martin Reilly Mazda are the main sponsors for this event. It is wonderful to have the World Championships back in Sligo, as it was last held here in 1987″.
Entries are now open for the Championships with an Early Bird entry available until the 12th May 2023
